Strategy and Partnership Lead – Sustainability

Are you passionate about sustainability and tackling climate change? Are you a strategic thinker with a good track record in delivering projects? Have you got knowledge and experience in environmental issues and sustainability in local government?

Lewes and Eastbourne Councils now have a shared workforce. This post forms part of a dynamic and influential team driving forward strategy, policy and projects across the two councils. Since both councils recently declared a Climate Emergency, we need an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and self-motivated individual to drive this work forward.

We are seeking applicants who have considerable experience of developing policy in this field, working in partnership, delivering projects and influencing others. You will have experience of working in or alongside local government and will understand the challenges of working in a political environment.

The closing date for the receipt of completed applications is 4 October 2019. Interviews will be held on 14 October 2019
