Sustainability Specialist - Grants and Projects
Are you passionate about sustainability and tackling climate change? Are you a strategic thinker with a good track record in delivering projects? Have you got knowledge and experience in environmental issues and sustainability in local government?
This post forms part of a dynamic and influential team driving forward strategy, policy and projects across the Lewes District. Since the council declared a Climate Emergency in 2019, this has been one of the council’s key corporate priorities. We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and self-motivated individual to secure external funding to further progress the sustainability agenda.
We are seeking applicants who have considerable experience of developing funding bids in this field, working in partnership with partner organisations and delivering projects. You will have experience of working in or alongside local government and will understand the challenges of working in a political environment.
